Aeropress
The perfect Aeropress:
- 15g coffee Or 2 Scoops
- Medium Grind
- 200g water or fill it up
- Water just below boil (97°)
- Rinse papers
- Add coffee
- Pour 50g water - stir and let sit for 15 secs
- Add the rest of the water
- At 1:45 presssss
French Press
Delicious French Press:
- Pro tip - Pre heat glass
- 30g coffee
- Coarse grind
- 500g water or 2 cups just below boil
- Add coffee
- Pour in 80g or 1/3 cup of water
- Stir well - let sit for 15 secs
- Add rest of water
- Let sit for 3:30 mins
- Pop on plunger
- Press for fuller more bitter cup
- Leave unplunged for lighter cleaner cup
Pour Over
Make it just right:
- 20g or 1/3 cup of coffee
- Medium grind
- 300g water just below boil
- Rinse paper filter and preheat cup
- Ditch water
- Add coffee
- Start timer and pour in 50g of water
- Let sit for 20 secs
- Add 50g water every 30 seconds
- At 3:00 remove pour over
Espresso
Smooth creamy espresso:
- 18-20g coffee or fill basket flush
- fine grind - coarser grind = faster / finer grind = slower
- Dry basket
- Flush water
- Tamp - not to heavy not too light...juuuust right
- Shot 25-30 seconds ish
- Purge Steam
- Steam milk
- Purge steam again and wipe wand
- Pour
- Sip
